Job description

Due to continued growth and success we have a position available for an experienced Nutritionist. As a Nutritionist, you'll generate, assess and deliver scientific evidence-based nutritional advice in a variety of settings, and develop new product offerings in a rapid paced business environment. You’ll be required to communicate effectively with internal and external customers to ensure business and customer expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, deliver and evaluate a range of practical and educational food-based initiatives to encourage healthy lifestyle changes.
  • Promote nutritional advice via website content, e-learning tutorials and webinars, seminars, audio and video podcasts and social media.
  • Review literature and undertake market research and product surveys.
  • Write reports and review key literature to produce guidance documents.
  • Finished product and raw material advice based on research and regulation review. This requires special attention to safety limits, regional and commercial aspects.
  • Assist in new raw material sourcing including return on investment (ROI) justification, evaluation, data collection and review..
  • Nutritional advice on suggested ingredients, levels and synergies with other ingredients, whilst considering cost and other product requirements.
  • Provide nutritional information for food production and help to secure approval for health claims on packaging.
  • Reporting and storing technical information both internally and externally in an auditable format.
  • Liaise with Sales, Purchasing and Formulation departments regarding raw materials, and with an appreciation of finished product formulation.
  • Attend key customer meetings.
  • Focus on the development of key accounts and developing business.
  • Provide nutritional advice to ParkAcre and key brand product development.
Skills and Expertise
  • Minimum 2+ Years working in a commercial business to business environment.
  • Business to customer experience desirable.
  • A driven individual who is able to communicate effectively via various information platforms.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages essential.
Personal Skills
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and multitask.
  • Motivated, determined and committed.
  • Own transport essential due to location.
Qualifications
  • Degree educated with an industry related qualification (e.g. Nutrition and Food Science).
